About Women Development Cell

A Women Development Cell (WDC) is an initiative taken by educational institutions, workplaces, or other organizations to empower women and ensure their safety, equality, and dignity.
The Cell has both the faculty and students of the College as its members and works with an aim to create a gender sensitized community within campus as well as in the society. It has been organizing various medical, cultural and social events for the upliftment of women and spread the real importance of gender equality in the society through College students. It works towards ensuring a safe and conducive environment for women and creating opportunities for their personal and professional development.
The Women Development Cell also provides support to women who face discrimination, harassment, or any other form of gender-based violence. They organize workshops, seminars, and other events to promote gender equality, women’s rights, and to sensitize people about gender issues.
