About N.S.S. Unit<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

National Service Scheme (NSS) was started in the year 2010-11 with 1 unit of 100 volunteers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unit of 100 volunteers was sanctioned by SGBAU, Amravati. NSS has organized several social activities<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vision<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The vision is to build the youth with the mind and spirit to serve the society and work for the social uplift of the down-trodden masses of our nation as a movement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mission<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The National Service Scheme has been functioning with the motto \u201cNOT ME BUT YOU\u201d in view of making the youth inspired in service of the people and hence NSS Aims Education through Community Service and Community Service through Education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

OBJECTIVES<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Understand the community in which they work<\/p>\n

2. Understand themselves in relation to their community<\/p>\n

3. Identify the needs and problems of the community and involve them in problem solving process<\/p>\n

4. Develop among themselves a sense of social and civic responsibility<\/p>\n

5. Utilize their knowledge in finding practical solution to individual and community problems<\/p>\n

6. Develop competence required for group living and sharing of responsibilities<\/p>\n

7. Gain skills in mobilizing community participation<\/p>\n

8. Acquire leadership qualities and democratic attitude<\/p>\n

9. Develop capacity to meet emergencies and natural disasters and<\/p>\n
